Contest Rules

Entry:
You may enter the contest by purchasing a raffle ticket for the contest between January 2014 and May 17, 2014, or until sold out. Qualifying for the grand prize will be determined by one random drawing to be held on May 17, 2014 at SUNY IT, Marcy Campus. Winner does not need to be present to win. If a ticket is drawn and determined illegible (poor handwriting, full name not given, no contact information, etc) by the Board of Directors a second ticket will be drawn and announced as the winner.

Eligibility:
Contestants must be legal U.S. residents, 18 years or older. Board of Directors of ALS of Utica and their household are ineligible to participate in the contest. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries. A maximum of four thousand (4,000) tickets can be sold.

Prizes:
Grand Prize: One winner will receive use of Party Suite #67 at Yankee Stadium for 28 individuals on Sunday June 29, 2014. Suite includes wait staff, 28 games tickets for NY Yankees vs Boston Red Sox game. A food and beverage package is included for 28 people, full details will be provided to the winner prior to the game, any additional food and beverage is payable by the winner to the stadium. Transportation will be provided via 55 passenger luxury bus, gratuity not included. Transportation is provided from the Utica/Rome, NY area. There is also a $2000 cash prize included in this package.

Conditions:
a) ALS of Utica is not responsible for rain delays or rainouts or additional transportation or costs involved with such delays.
b) Winner is responsible for payment of all federal, state and local taxes on prize and for any other expenses not specified herein, and relating to the acceptance and use of their prize. Winners will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or equivalent. Please consult your tax advisor.
c) By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
d) Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600 or greater. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold ALS of Utica, affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participate in the contest. ALS of Utica, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The organization further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
